eHealth Connector

Creates the link to connected health

Open, simple and interoperable

The eHealth Connector is an open-source interface for a better-connected, interoperable healthcare system. It is freely and publicly available. Based on international implementation guidelines and standards such as IHE, HL7 CDA, HL7 FHIR and OASIS SAML, the Connector provides a way into the world of ehealth standards and a link to communities such as the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) in Switzerland and ELGA in Austria.

Harmonised data sharing

The eHealth Connector encapsulates the complex eHealth standards and makes them available via an easy-to-use programming interface (convenience API). This enables actors in healthcare to share harmonised data and documents without having to engage in depth with the relevant standards.
